Aluminium Edging Installation

6 Easy Installation Steps

Our aluminium edging can be placed directly onto soil, road base, sand, concrete surfaces and slabs. Site prep required is at the discretion of the installer dependent on above or below ground use.

Step 1 - Insert garden edge joiners

Simply insert the custom made straight joiners into the edging profile for a seamless uninterrupted garden edge.

Step 2 - Connect garden edging

Now push the two lengths together to connect the pieces.

Step 3 - Fix garden edging in place

Using a mallet or hammer, drive the fixing spike through the spike guide to fix the edging in place.

  • Use 1 x 250mm Fixing Spike per metre

  • Use 1 x Spike Guide per metre

Step 4 - Add corner joiners

Achieving the perfect right angle is easy with our custom made corner joiners. No additional screws or fixings are required.

Step 5 - Curve your edging

Bend flex edge to the desired shape to create sweeping curves easily.

If pulling the edging into tighter circles it may kink. Circles using less than three lengths are not recommended

Step 6 - Backfill up to the edging

The final step is to simply backfill your soil or mulch to the freshly installed garden edging.
